Since Wizkid’s Ojuelegba Remix dropped featuring Drake and Skepta there’s this buzz going around with a lot of questions being asked on “Who is Skepta?”.
We all know who Drake is and what he can possibly do on any beat but Skepta? What? i’m sure a lot of you guys were like “huh” “tani yen” “who?”.
Joseph Junior Adenuga also known as Skepta is an actor, DJ, grime artist, MC and record producer based in Tottenham, England. He’s commonly associated with the North London grime scene. You’re probably wondering what grime scene/music is, it’s a genre of music in the United Kingdom (London) surfaced in the early 2000s. You can relate grime music to dancehall, hip hop, bass, drum.

Skepta released his debut album “Greatest Hits” under the “Boy Better Know” umbrella. He also released his sophomore album “Microphone Champion” with ‘Rolex Sweep’ as the lead single.

He’s African, one of us so it’s perfectly ok to claim him.
