Check out Akwa Ibom 30,000-capacity stadium That Would Host The Nigeria Friendly Match Today

The newly completed Akwa-Ibom International Stadium, Uyo will be officially opened with the Nigeria's Super Eagles friendly match, with a team made up entirely of domestic league players on November 9, 2014.

Officials of the Nigeria Football Federation disclosed in Abuja that the friendly encounter, which is to be bankrolled by the Akwa Ibom State Government, will see the Super Eagles play a North African team that will be confirmed this week.

Head Coach Amodu Shaibu is already planning to use the opportunity of this international friendly to begin preparations for Nigeria's 2015 Africa Cup of Nations campaigns in November.
